I first heard this song sitting on a bench in a mall in Mumbai, India in October 2006. I had just gotten out of a seeing a Bollywood film and I was sitting with a blog reader who had met me for the movie. It was odd to be an environment so materially rich -- the mall, the movie theater -- when just outside was jaw-dropping poverty. This song came on the mall speaker system, and I immediately loved it.
